Another weekend.
Thank God.
I can't remember when I lived for the weekends like I do now.
What happened? Mostly, I'm just physically tired and don't want to do a damn thing but mess around online, do homework and watch movies.
It's not as hard as it was just a few months ago ....I pulled over 200 plants in under 30 minutes today. 3 gallons. I remember when I first started that an amount like that would have had me sniveling.
This past week has sort of been good and sort of suck. I don't know what the deal is with that woman. Up, down. Up, down. ARGH! I hate that.
I had to work with the men quite a bit this week and I'd really prefer to be alone but sometimes she feels like it keeps them busy and supervised. The men being the Hispanic workers.
Most of the guys are all right. There's really only one that I don't like being around and that's only because he thinks he's cool as shit and whistles at me and S. all the time. I ignore it, never acknowledge it and most of the time don't acknowledge him.
Latin men have that whole macho man thing going on, it may be a stereotype but it fits the majority that I've met. They get mad at S. because she gets pissed off and argues with them and they don't like taking orders from her. I've not had that problem and don't think I will. Most of them have been working there for quite a while and know a hell of a lot more than I do about certain things and I treat everyone with equal respect. Until they give me a reason not to anyway.
Thursday sucked though.
We had a cold front come through during the afternoon and I can tell you that standing in front of a large pile of dirt, with the wind blowing into your face while you pot up bare root daylilies is not the most fun I've ever had. I went to class and only later did I realize I had bits of leaves clinging to my shirt and in my hair. How attractive! At least it matches my work clothes: army fatigues.

M1key had a Dr. appt. this past Tuesday with an Orthopedic/Sports Medicine place. He's been having a lot of knee pain that's been getting progressively worse and in gym they are doing free weights and he's having trouble doing the squats with the weights because of the knee.
The Dr. said that most boys his age are not very flexible and he needs to start doing some physical therapy stuff if he is going to continue playing any type of sport. So I have to call and make an appt. to get that set up.
His golf season starts this coming week. Another milestone coming and going. They (Stuart and M1key) have been waiting years now for him to join the high school golf team.
I hope he doesn't screw up in school and lose the opportunity.
It seems that happens every time.

Stuart and I had our Valentine's early. He was supposed to be going out of town for work again on Sunday so he had made arrangements for his Mom to keep Erica so he could take me out to eat and to a movie or whatever we wanted to do.
It worked out really well because Jennifer ended up inviting Erica to go with them to the circus and spend the night so that left us with a lot of time. It's been so long since we've had that much face time. We both enjoyed the food and where we were at and talked and talked and one of the topics that came up was how long we'd been married.
I think we were both a little startled at just how long we've been together now.
Time seems to get away from you if you're not pinning it down and making it wiggle. Days blend into weeks and months and finally years. This coming up October will be our 9 year anniversary. We've been together for ten years now.
It was a very good night.

Today (Sunday), I slept in. God it was GOOD. I never get to sleep in anymore. Erica thinks sleep is for LOSERS I think.
So I did that and got up and messed around online, did some homework, watched some CSI Season One on DVD, started laundry and got ready to go to a friend's baby shower. Her due date is M1key's birthday - March 15.
Came home, messed around outside taking some reflection photos with the digital, came in and cleaned for a while and that was that.
