August 6, 2003

The following photos were taken on July 29. Close enough for August.

Rudbeckia herbstonne growing up through a 'Black Knight' Butterfly Bush. Located in main perennial bed.

The cotton field just a few steps from my house.

A cotton plant blossom.

A huge garden spider that set up camp on the Eleagnus.

This is a Rudbeckia though tI'm not sure which one. That is 'New Gold' Lantana in the forefront. You can see the cotton field behind the fence.

"Leaves of 3 let them be." I have poison ivy sprouting up all over the yard. Damn birds.

'Irish Eyes' Rudbeckia.

The Grape Arbor bed.

Lots of grapes this year. They are Muscadine Grapes.

Stuart on the back porch.

The back corner bed.

My favorite Crape Myrtle: 'Natchez'. This is the tree the baby copperhead was hiding under.
