Passalong Plants: I've had this book for about 9 years or so and have been aiming to get as many of the Passalong Plants that I like. Some like Cockscomb isn't a big deal to me so I focus more on things like the Crinum Lily and Winter Honeysuckle.

It is a book that has plants that do well mostly in the south but there are others like the Phlox, Sweet Pea, Clove Currant and more that do fine for zones to 4. Not JUST for southern gardens. I like the book mostly for the history and information that Steve Bender and Felder Rushing pass along to us.

With chapters dedicated to plants with a heavenly or distinctive smell, oddities and conversation pieces, plants that "get away" and more they cover a huge amount of gardening ground.
