Arrived in good condition and seems already to
be perking up by itself.
It looks so airy. I think it will make a good contrast
where it's at. We'll see.

Great plant. Very drought tolerant and wonderful color display. Best in full sun with maybe a little shade. Clump type growth habit. Spreads by underground runners and also can self sow if seedheads left intact. 3'x3'.
Sometimes incorrectly labelled: 'Goldstrum'.

Rudbeckia maxima
I was supposed to have received Rudbeckia maxima in a trade this spring (May 2001) but the leaves look NOTHING like what all the photos have show so I guess I'll have to wait until it blooms to be sure what it is.
