Do we ever really know what we're getting into by bringing another life into this world?

Even though I have children, I'm still pretty clueless about some things. Kids are something that will keep you off-guard for the rest of your life. And BABIES! are something that can be even more intimidating.

Not to mention what you go through after you have a baby. A new person. One that can't tell you what it needs, if it's cold, nothing. What happens to YOU after a baby? To your relationship with your partner? With your other children? Pets?

The logistics of the adjustment can be quite scary if you look at the whole thing at once.
